I was having some random meandering sparked by the NFP Debate. There was much discussion of avoiding temptation and I realized that sin is like gravity. The closer you get, the stronger the pull. Importantly, the struggle against sin builds our faith, much as a seed struggles against the pull of gravity (geotropism, thanks Dad!) to reach the Sun. Although we pray to not be lead into temptation in the Lord's prayer, we accept that God allows temptation to happen so our faith may grow.
End of meandering spiritual thought. All unorthodoxy is unintentional.
