Humiliating Lent
I think the best lesson I learned from this humiliating Lent, is that I am completely undeserving of the joy of Easter. Lent definitely taught me humility, through my near total inability to offer a personal sacrifice for the Lord. Now that the joy of Easter is upon us, I realize how completely it is a gift from the graciousness of God.

Yep, I completely flubbed Lent this year too. Not worthy, but I guess that's the point.
Well, hoping that this isn't self inflation, but...I've been thinking that the lack of real spiritual growth this Lent is are somehow made up for in the temporal sufferings of being parents again. The whole lactating, recovering from major surgery, and being responsible for the new life God gave us, I'm hoping is partly pleasing to Him.
Or maybe I just convince myself of that so I don't wallow in hopelessness. Yeah.
